Hello, my name is Mat, another member here from Hybrid Z. I hope I figured out how to post this properly. I have a '73 240Z with a '87 Buick Grand National engine swap (3.8 V-6 Turbo). It's not complete yet, but here is my latest update: http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=97917 Just click the links in my update to see the pictures.
You gallery is pretty cool! I really like the black 240Z. Here is the caption for one of the pictures of that black 240Z:

Yeah, big time. Today's specials were about 1.07e/litre (95-octane). Well, U can't afford to be poor if U want to drive daily in Finland.

Holy cow...that's more than $7 per gallon.....at least it's 95octane, but we can get 110 racing fuel for $5/gallon. I pay ~$2.25/(US)gallon for 91 octane (bestavailable pump octane in California
(calculations using $1.70 per Euro, and 1L=0.268 US gallons)

Damm. It's cheap around there. Cars ain't cheap hobby here in Finland. But man's gotta do, what a man's gotta do. ;D
Anyway, about cars here in Finland. Here is link to my own gallyry http://www.appracing.net/index_kuvat.htm. Car is Nissan 200SX with 1.8 turbo motor. There is a project website too but you won't get much from it, because it's written in finnish.

That Buick engine in a Z is really cool! Are there many Zetas with this engine in the US? I think Scottie-GNZ at HybridZ had one?
It's really nice to see so many of you HybridZ-members here

There are a few Z's with the Buick GN engine swap, which are all 240Z's by the way. I would have to say more than 6, but less than 12 here in the states.
Just out of curiosity, do all of you speak/write english or do you use a translator?

I don't know about the others, but I don't use translator and that you can see, my english is quite bad because I use it too less these days =)
We all have been studying english at least six years in school, so I think that the others don't use translator too....

Most of us do speak/write english quite fluently. It is taught in our schools very early on even though swedish is our second native lanquage.

Yep, I believe most of us find english very interesting language, maybe it has something to do with the fact that there is a lot of information out there in english. Oh well, japanese would be handy, too .
Many things prepairs us to speak english, I mean we have a lot of American stuff (South park.. oh yes) on tv, and almost all the movies are in english and like I said before, most of us read a lot of stuff in english. Of course, the foundation has been laid in school many years ago.
Btw. Computer -and consolegames are always displayed in english. Good practice.

How 'bout u guys build a pipeline from US to here and start pumping petrol in here.
Of course it would have to be an underground pipeline, and you would have to build it secretly. u can drill a hole in my backyard if needed.
And in my town the special prize of today was 1,098e/l and last week 1.120e/l.. thats crazy

Fuel prices are indeed high. Good thing our cars are so fuel efficient. : LOL. Just refueled my corolla (winter car yes, yes) last monday. Maybe there was something wrong in the pump or something but I got it at 0.974 euros per liter. ;D A silly thing here is that I consider that cheap when you US guys really do not.
Live slow, die old.

How much traffic did you espect to see here in the first place? I think that this kind of an "international area within a domestic car club" isn't very popular idea, especially when there's _many_ different international car clubs, forums etc...
Nevertheless, it has been a pleasant surprise to see that several mates around the world have even checked this out and now know that there is a club named DNSF at the other end of the world.
